Students can log in to Blackboard using their SMU student credentials ; that is student number and password, and access course materials, lectures, and other resources.

Blackboard Queries
To access Blackboard either from your device or computer follow the steps below:
1. Use Chrome or Safari as your browser
2. On the address bar type ithute.smu.ac.za
3. Enter your login credentials as provided to you by the E-learning Unit.

All registered students have access to Blackboard. To log in follow the same steps as above.
