Mut Online registration period begins on 30 January –10 February 2024 for New and Continuing students who desire to study at MUT and have accepted the admission offer. Selected applicants are contacted a few weeks after the application period to register for their classes and selected courses/programmes. Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) provides an online registration procedure for both new and returning students, making it a quick and easy option to enrol in academic programs.
MUT intends to streamline the registration process for its students by establishing an online registration system, allowing them to finish the procedure at their own speed and from any place with an internet connection. The university expects that by reducing the time and effort necessary to register for courses and programs, students will be able to focus on their studies and achieve their academic goals. MUT has made it simple for students to register online and join the ranks of successful graduates by providing a user-friendly online platform and clear criteria.
MUT Online Registration Procedure
- Go to the official website of MUT via www.mut.ac.za.
- Click on “Online Registration” on the homepage.
- You will be directed to a page that provides information about the online registration process.
- Click on the “Student Portal” to be redirected to the online registration system.
- create an account If you are a new student therefore, If you are a returning student, you can simply log in with your username and password.
- Once you are logged in, complete the online registration form with information such as personal information, program details, and fees.
- Upload ALL required supporting documents, such as your ID or academic transcripts.
- Once you have submitted your online registration form and supporting documents, you should receive a confirmation email from MUT.

PLEASE NOTE
- Financial-cleared returning students can register online on student I-Enabler anywhere they are!
- New students are required to be in possession of the following upon registration:
Originals and certified copies of Matric certificate, ID, Proof of payments and SMSes confirming a student number and acceptance by the university.
- Additional documents required from international students are the permit, medical Aid proof, and police clearance.
