How to access the University Of Pretoria Login

• Click My UP Login in the top navigation menu if you are on the homepage. Alternatively, you can go directly to the UP portal at https://upnet.up.ac.za/
• The next step is to enter your username and password. Your username must start with the letter “u,” for example, u07654321.
• then select “Login” from the menu.

This EMPLID number, which stands for Enterprise-wide Master Personal Identity Descriptor and is given to each person, is used by the University of Pretoria as a distinctive identity for each person across all platforms.

What happens if I forget my UP password?

By clicking the “Lost (forgotten) password” link and then entering your username (again, the one that starts with “u”), you can reset your UP password if you’ve lost it or forgotten it.
