The NWU is currently in the ongoing process of aligning its qualification and program offering with the requirements of the HEQSF. Prospective students must take notice of the fact that NWU qualification names, program names as well as the composition of curricula may change due to the HEQSF Project, prior to registration for the following academic year.

NWU First-year students Application and Registration Dates
- Commencement of online registration for first-year students: 23 January 2024.
- Commencement of online registration for senior students: 30 January 2024.
- Closing date for online registration for first-year and senior students: 17 February 2024
- The first semester amendment period for module and qualification changes will be available from 13 February 2024 to 3 March 2024.
