The National Treasury Internship Programme for the 2025/2026 academic year offers 24-month opportunities for graduates to enhance their skills and gain meaningful workplace experience to complement their studies.

The Treasury Internship Program provides graduates with the opportunity to improve their talents and obtain valuable work experience while still in school. Therefore, the management board at the National Treasury is calling all applicants to apply for the Internship Programme in 2025 and move in the right direction.

National Treasury Internship Application Date 2025/2026

The application is open and will be closing on 9 October. If you have not heard anything within three months after the closing date, please regard your application as unsuccessful. Applicants should note that e-mailed, posted, hand-delivered, faxed and late applications will not be accepted.

• Audit and Risk Committee Member (3 Years Contract) 8 April

• Deputy Director: Programme Coordination (Internal Applicants Only) 5 April

To apply for the 2025 Internship Programme, follow the steps below:

• Go to the National Treasury recruitment website: https://erecruitment.treasury.gov.za/eRecruitment/
• At the top right of the page, click on “Sign in”
• Enter your details. Make sure you have an email address
• Enter your email address in the space provided
• After that, you enter your password. If you haven’t registered, click on “Register Now”
• Follow the prompts and complete your application for the internship program
