NWU Undergraduate Late Applications 2024-2025

If you have missed the North West University application deadline, you may be able to submit a late application. However, the University’s policy on late applications may vary depending on the program and level of study.

It is important to note that submitting a late application does not guarantee admission, and limited spots may be available. Therefore, applying during the application date is essential if there are no critical reasons.

North-West University Late Application Date

NWU late applications are accepted for 2024 from January 9 through February 28, 2024. As a result, those who intend to enrol at North-West University (NWU) must submit an application for admission.

 

Undergraduate students

In order to consider your application, please upload the following supporting documents. If the application is incomplete, it may be declined by the University:

  • Grade 12 results, grade 11 results (final results only) or a copy of your matric certificate – if you have already passed matric.
  • Applicants who are currently upgrading their grade 12 results, will only be considered after the improved results are presented to the NWU.
  • Applicants who follow Cambridge, GED or any other non-NSC curriculum, or who may qualify for exemption based on advanced age or post-school qualifications, must provide an exemption certificate as issued by USAF. 
  • Completed undertaking
  • Copy of your ID
  • Copy of your academic record (if applicable).

How to Apply for the NWU Late Application

  1. Get a Student Number
      1. Go to the online application platform 
      2. Click on New application
      3. Click on Create new student number and complete all the fields
  2. Log in
    1. When you receive a student number, use that together with the PIN number you created to log in.
  3. Decide what you want to Study
    1. Complete all the fields. Use the yearbooks to obtain more information about the qualifications, modes of delivery and curricula.
  4. Upload Support Documents
  5. Submit Application
