North-West University Vaal: North-West University (NWU) has three campuses, one of which is one of its campuses. It is located in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, and was established in 1966 as the Vaal Triangle Campus of Potchefstroom University. In 2004, it became part of the newly merged North-West University.
