With the login information on the letter you receive after applying, you can check the status of your application. To do this, go to the login page and enter the information from the acknowledgement letter to log in.
Undergraduate first-year students who have already applied for 2025 can now verify their final application status based on their matric results.

NWU Online Application Status Procedure
The NWU application status is released a few weeks after the application portal has been closed. To know the status of our application, consider the following steps;
- Visit the official website of NWU at www.nwu.ac.za
- Navigate to the student portal
- Sign in using your student number and password
- Congratulations if you gained admission; if not try again next academic year

- Log in with the student number that was allocated to you when you first applied.
Application Status Meaning NWU
