NMU NSFAS
NSFAS is a government-funded program that offers qualifying students with loans and bursaries to pay tuition, housing, books, and other study-related expenses. Students must satisfy specific eligibility conditions to qualify for NSFAS financing at NMU, including being a South African citizen or permanent resident, being enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree, and passing the financial means test.
Students must also apply for financing before the deadline and present all the supporting documentation. To be eligible for NSFAS support, you must be a South African citizen or permanent resident, enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree, and fulfil the financial means test.

  • Go to the official website of NSFAS and Create an account
  • Complete the application form with the required information
  • Upload supporting documents
  • Submit your application along with supporting documents
  • Check your application status on the portal few weeks after application.

  • Go to: https://students.mandela.ac.za
  • Username: mandela\s123456789
  • Password: network password that you set yourself or that was given to you. Your password will expire after 60 Days. Please change it when it expires.

  • Log into the student portal as above and select your module from the My Modules tab.
