UFH Blackboard is a learning management system currently promoted at the University of Fort Hare. In essence, it is a web-based online learning environment for the University of Fort Hare staff to be able to integrate a wide range of pedagogical and course administration tools. For instance, it can be used to keep course learning materials so that all students in a specific course or programme can access them anywhere as long as they have internet access.

Furthermore, it facilitates communication among students as well as between students and instructors. When used to augment face-to-face learning, in the form of supportive learning materials using different media, it has the potential to offer blended learning environments for the University of Fort Hare students. This enables increased student engagement with the course content. This manual contains basic information about using Blackboard. Further support in understanding the manual and using Blackboard can be obtained from learn@ufh.ac.za

STEPS ON HOW TO ACCESS AND ENROL FOR THE UFH BLACKBOARD PORTAL SYSTEM. 

The following is a guide on how to enrol for the UFH Blackboard System.

1. Open your internet browser e.g. Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc.
2. Go to UFH Blackboard Portal
3. Select Log in
4. Once logged in, scroll down the page to Course Categories. Select your School
5. Select your course or check for your course in your department.
6. You will then see the content for your course.
