University of Cape Town (UCT) is a public research university located in Cape Town, South Africa. The university was founded in 1829 as the South African College, and it is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Africa.

- Applicant must obtain grade 12
- A valid copy of your Identity Document
- Proof of the payment receipt of your application fee. This fee is not refundable.
- A unique email address when applying either online or in a hard copy.

- First-time UCT applicants
- UCT students changing to a new qualification and/or specialization
- Applicants who previously applied for admission and were not offered a space or who were offered a space accepted the offer and did not register
- students completing a higher certificate or any other programme and who wish to continue with further undergraduate studies
