Route map to the Building C1 (Potchefstroom)
N12 FROM JOHANNESBURG:
Follow the N12 to Potchefstroom. At the fifth robot after entering Potchefstroom, turn right into Govan Mbeki Drive (Mooirivier Drive). The Mooi Rivier Mall will be on your right-hand side. Follow the road past the Riverwalk shopping centre, McDonald’s and Kentucky, all on your left. Turn left into Chief Albert Luthuli Drive (Von Wielligh Street). Continue to the four-way stop (the first one after the robot at the Shell Garage) and turn right into Hoffman Street. Follow the road past two more four-way stops. At the third four-way stop, turn left towards the security entrance of Building C1. The physical address is 53 Borcherd Street.
N12 FROM KLERKSDORP:
At the third robot, turn left into Beyers Naudé Avenue (Kruger Street), directly after crossing the bridge. Carry on straight. At the fourth stop sign, Beyers Naudé Avenue becomes Hoffman Street. Continue along this street. Turn left at the third four-way stop towards the security entrance of Building C1.
R53 FROM VENTERSDORP:
After passing the artillery school mess hall on your left, turn left at the robot into Meyer Street. Follow the road past the Medi-Clinic hospital on your right. Continue through two four-way stop streets and across a bridge. Directly after the bridge, turn right into Hoffman Street. Turn left at the next four-way stop towards the security entrance of Building C1.

R53 FROM POTCHEFSTROOM
Follow the R53 from Potchefstroom to Ventersdorp. Follow the N14 from Ventersdorp to Coligny. Follow the R503 from Coligny to Lichtenburg. Follow the R503 from Lichtenburg to Mahikeng. Follow the N18 to the North-West University, Mahikeng Campus.
N14 FROM KRUGERSDORP
From Johannesburg proceed to Krugersdorp. In Krugersdorp, take the N14 to Ventersdorp. Proceed with the N14 to Coligny. Follow the R503 from Coligny to Lichtenburg. Follow the R503 from Lichtenburg to Mahikeng. Entering Mahikeng on Nelson Mandela Drive, keep going straight for about seven kilometres. After passing a Sasol Garage, you will see the Mmabatho Palms Hotel on your right. Turn left at the robot in front of the hotel into Albert Luthuli Street. Drive on for about 2,5 kilometres. Cross over the railway line and then look out for a set of robots going straight (not curving left). Look out for a water tower on your left. At the next set of robots, turn right into the entrance of the Mahikeng Campus.

N12 FROM JOHANNESBURG

At the third robot, turn left into Beyers Naudé Avenue (Kruger Street), directly after crossing the bridge. Carry on straight. At the fourth stop sign, Beyers Naudé Avenue becomes Hoffman Street. Continue along this street – it ends at the security entrance to the Potchefstroom Campus.

R59 FROM JOHANNESBURG
Follow the R59 past Alberton to Vereeniging, go through Vereeniging and take the R42 to Vanderbijlpark. At the traffic light at the Pick ‘n Pay turn left, go over the four way stop and continue straight over the next four-way stop. At the three-way stop (River Spray on your left), turn right, and go over the traffic light into Hendrik van Eck Boulevard, the campus is on the left.
N1 (CEMENT HIGHWAY) FROM JOHANNESBURG
Follow the highway through the tollgate. Go past the four-way stop, past two traffic lights, drive in the direction of Sasolburg and then take the slipway on the left side, turn left and follow the road signs to the campus.
N12 FROM KLERKSDORP
Follow the N12 (Joe Slovo Road) straight towards Potchefstroom (N12 – Nelson Mandela Drive). Turn right onto the R53 (Parys Avenue) and continue straight on the R53, the road turns slightly left at the R42. Continue and turn right onto the R57 (Golden Highway). Turn left into Ravel Street and continue straight into Beethoven Street, straight into Frikkie Meyer Street, then into the slipway, straight into Hendrick van Eck Boulevard. Continue until you reach the NWU Vaal on the right.
