UP Registration Online
On the UP Student Portal, UP online registration will start on January 4, 2023. Support will be available from the registration call center from January 4 through February 17, 2023. From 24 January 2023 through 17 February 2023, Hillcrest Campus will offer in-person registration support from Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.
Online Registration Guidelines
- Log in to UP Student Portal, click on the UP Student Centre link, and check for holds in the right column of the student center. If there are any holds, students will not be able to register.
- First-year students, who are not sure about their curriculum, need to register for core and fundamental modules. Elective modules can be added after attending the orientation program and curriculum advice.
- First-years with fixed curricula can register their modules as they appear on the registration page. Current students will be able to register online from 4 January 2023 to 17 February 2023. There is no fixed registration schedule for these students.

New Students
You should be able to find the answers to any queries you may have about admission, registration, study periods, exams, and much more, from undergraduate to postgraduate courses, in the General Academic Regulations (GAR), or G Regulations, as they are more frequently known.
It is crucial that you study these rules in conjunction with the pertinent faculty yearbook, which is available online, to ensure that you are aware of all the rules that apply to your particular faculty.

Current Students
The General Academic Regulations (GAR) or G Regulations, as they are commonly referred to, should provide answers to any questions you might have on admission, registration, study periods, examinations, and much more, from undergraduate to postgraduate studies. It is very important that you read these regulations in conjunction with the relevant faculty yearbook (available online) for faculty rules and regulations.
