Pleased to have you here at Pretoria University. With the use of the UP portal, a digital platform, students can complete a range of tasks online. You can access the UP Portal to track your development after submitting your initial application to UP. Following application submission, you will receive an EMPLID, or student number (Enterprise-wide Master Personal Identity Descriptor).

Before attempting to access the UP Portal, you must wait at least 48 hours after getting your student number or EMPLID. You must use your student number each time you interact with UP, even if receiving one does not guarantee that your application was approved. The University of Pretoria Portal was created to make it simple for both current and prospective students to complete academic tasks like paying tuition, registering for classes, checking results, viewing admission lists and statuses, paying acceptance fees, viewing transcripts, viewing the academic calendar, earning extra credit hours, delaying admission, and other tasks.
