Dut Online Application 2024-2025 Closing date
The application must be made via the application forms (obtainable from the International School Office or downloaded from the website: www.dut.ac.za), and a non-refundable application fee must accompany all applications. The early bird online application period begins from April until November 30, 2023, which is the last day that the university will accept applications for the 2024/2025 academic year. The closing date may vary depending on the choice of course.
Information about the full cost of the programme and the dates are available on the International School website at http://www.dut.ac.za. The fee covers accommodation, instruction, materials, and travel arrangements as part of individual courses, tours and a visit to a game park. All other costs are to be met by the students.

Method of Payment
Payment of fees from countries other than South Africa should be made by:
- An electronic transfer to the Durban University of Technology (International School) Account Number: 050007068 at STANDARD BANK, Durban Main Branch; Branch Code 040026; SWIFT Code: SBZAZAJJ; Reference: G997 301374 (and name of student).
Please supply your name and address, and state that the payment is for the International School, and scan/e-mail proof of payments to: international@dut.ac.za.
Please note
- Notification of acceptance will be sent no later than May 30. If you have provided a With E-mail address you will obviously get news much sooner.
- You must then arrange to pay the balance of the fees by June 4.
- Please scan and email proof of payment to international@dut.ac.za
- Visa: U.S. citizens are expected to apply for a travel visa to enter South Africa.

Durban University of Technology Online Application
- Please complete the CAO application form, and attach certified copies of your identity document and Grade 12 certificate (June/ Trial report if you have not written your final examination).
- The application form must reach the CAO office before the closing date of 30 September 2023 for Diploma & Degree programmes and 30 November 2023 for Higher Certificate programmes. Please refer to specific programmes for relevant closing dates, as some programmes close earlier than 30 September 2023.
- Include the appropriate application fee of R245 (SA Citizens) / R300 (International applicants) when submitting your application form. Make sure that your application AND fee reach the CAO before the closing date.
- Submission of a completed application form does not imply that you have been accepted as a student, or that you may register.
- All applicants will be notified, in writing/SMS, of the outcome of their application. The CAO provides an online application facility. Kindly consult the CAO webpage at www.cao.ac.za
