NWU APP

NWU app is an online application designed to provide students and staff with easy access to important academic information and resources related to the university. The NWU’s new communication channel is the NWU app. Keep up with the most recent North West University news and events on the NWU APP.

The NWU App every information which is NWU-related, from course schedules and library resources to news and events. The NWU app aims to make life easier for students and staff by providing them with easy access to the services they need. There is information for everyone that is pertinent to your situation. You are now able to access the services without being on campus or connecting via VPN.

Currently, the available NWU Apps are:

Leave Balances – Display staff leave balances
Supervisor Hierarchy – Allocate supervisors per Organisation Entity (OE)
Action List – Approve or reject applications and allocate workflow items
NWU Vending Funds – Displays the funds available on a student’s student card
POPI – Displays the POPI status of a person

Service

Description: The NWU Mobile App now provides a unique set of mobile tools for administrative, academic and informative purposes.

Functions include:

a buying tool for mobile airtime,
live streaming to PUKfm,
access to the student Newspaper,
official NWU news, a chat tool,
access to academic results,
campus maps as on Google,
help functionality where all emergency numbers can be accessed,
students will also be able to check the balances of their student cards,
access to e-Fundi.
