The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) will open its online application portal for the 2025/2026 academic year from September 30 to November 30, 2024. To apply, candidates must complete the online application form available on the university’s website and submit the necessary supporting documents. Admission is granted only to those who meet the university’s entry requirements.

Established in 2004 through the merger of three technikons, TUT was created to address historical inequalities by providing educational opportunities to all communities and fostering an inclusive environment for its students. Tshwane University of Technology TUT Online Application Deadline For 2025-2026:

• Applications are open from September 30 through to November ending each year. Applications are urged to submit their applications before the deadline.
• Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted. Late applications will be considered only if there is space available in the programs concerned.
• TUT can accommodate only a limited number of students per program.

DISTANCE EDUCATION REGISTRATIONS/SUBJECT ADDITIONS 2025/2026

• Online subject registrations for newly approved students commenced on 21 January 2025 and closed on 25 February 2025.
• Online registrations for senior students commenced on 10 February 2025 and closed on 25 February 2025.
• Late registrations (with penalty fees) for all students commence on 28 February and close on 4 March 2025.
