The Central Johannesburg TVET College is one of 50 public TVET colleges in South Africa operating under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The College has eight campuses: Ellis Park, Parktown, Alexandra, Riverlea, Langlaagte, Smit Street and Troyville. The seven campuses are spread within a radius of approximately 10km from the College’s Central Office in Parktown.

The 2025-2026 online application window for CJC is currently ongoing admitting prospective students from all over the globe no matter your location and country of origin. If you are interested in enrolling on the college for the 2025 study year, you must begin your application process from the 1st of September through to the 30th of September 2024. Applicants are to note that, applications that will be sent after the application date cannot be processed.

The College offers two nationally recognized programs: National Technical Education (NATED) and National Certificate (Vocational) NC (V). The Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training, Umalusi, guarantees that these programs are up to par with national standards. In addition to the aforementioned programs, the College works with the relevant Sector Education and Training Authority to provide some skills training (SETA).
