• A Doctoral qualification (earned)
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience at the Senior Management level of which 5 years must be in a senior executive role in an academic or academic administrative institution (University, College, or Research Council).
• Knowledge and understanding of higher education legislation, associated industry practices, other regulatory frameworks, policies and the associated risk management thereof.

The University’s retirement age stands at 65 years. They offer a five-year performance-based contract with the expectation that the successful candidate will serve the entire term.
