VC Portal serves as the student management system, furnishing students and lecturers with organized ‘Learning and Teaching’ information. Additionally, it grants students access to their results, attendance records, module content, and financial statements. With its user-friendly, seamlessly integrated online platform, students can submit academic applications, raise queries, and utilize a variety of other features.
VC Learn provides an online learning environment designed with an activity-based approach, offering students enhanced accessibility and flexibility while promoting engagement and collaboration beyond the traditional classroom setting.
For current students, the groundbreaking Career Centre Platform provides access to a plethora of interactive career tools, e-learning content, and the latest job opportunities, empowering them to prepare for and elevate their careers. Each Varsity College campus features a library tailored to provide innovative information services and conducive learning environments for students and staff alike.
VC Connect, powered by Office 365, equips Varsity College students and lecturers with email services, SharePoint sites, online document editing and storage, as well as Instant Messaging (IM) and Web conferencing (Lync). Office Online offers enhanced versions of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for free, while OneNote Online facilitates seamless cross-device collaboration directly from the web browser.

VC Online Application Date For 2025-2026
- Applications for full-time contact undergraduate studies closed on 27 October 2024. Please note that a limited number of students can be accepted to programmes at The IIE’s Varsity College, each academic year. Late applications will be considered should space be available, with a late non–non-refundable application fee of R1750 levied.

- Sign in to the My VCportal
- Provide your credentials such as username and password
- You can now access the required information and perform your academic activities
How To Apply For Admission Using The VC Portal
Applying is the first step towards being admitted for study at IIE’s Varsity College and is as simple as:
1. Select the application relevant to you from the options below.
2. Complete the online application form and upload the required documentation.
- You will be required to submit your National ID or Passport and School Leaving Eligibility to date. Please keep these file sizes to a minimum as the maximum file size permitted per document is 2 MB.
- Should you need to reduce the size of your files, you can access these resources: Reducing the size of a PDF document or Reducing an image file.
3. Make payment of the non-refundable Application Fee on the Application Portal via PayU (This requires your credit card to be registered for Online Payments – 3D Secure service. Click here for more information on how to register your card for this service)
Once the above process is completed and if your application is successful, you will receive an appropriate offer of Admission.
